Your mission

As an Executive Assistant & Business Partner, you will play a key role in enabling our executive leadership to focus on strategic priorities, business growth, investor relations and partnerships.
You will go beyond traditional executive support, acting as a highly organised, proactive and business-minded partner who can anticipate needs, prepare high-quality executive materials and ensure that important priorities are followed through.

  • Board & Investor Support: Coordinate board meetings, investor meetings and fundraising-related activities, including preparing presentation materials, consolidating inputs from different stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery of documentation.
  • Meeting Preparation & Follow-up: Prepare comprehensive meeting briefings, conduct background research, develop agendas and track key decisions and action items to ensure effective follow-through.
  • Business & Project Support: Support the CEO and CBO on selected business initiatives and ad hoc projects, including coordinating activities across departments, gathering and structuring information, and monitoring progress against agreed timelines.
  • AI, Automation & Process Improvement: Proactively leverage AI, automation and digital tools to digitalise and streamline executive support processes, improve productivity and introduce smarter ways of working, while maintaining confidentiality and data security.

What you bring

  • At least 5–7 years of relevant professional experience in a senior Executive Assistant role or comparable executive support position, ideally supporting C-level executives in a fast-paced, international business environment.
  • A completed university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Management, Communications or a related field, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills, with proven experience independently creating polished, well-structured presentations and executive-level materials for senior management, boards or investors.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex business topics, identify relevant information and translate it into clear, professional communication and presentations.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills, combined with the ability to anticipate needs, work independently and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Confidence and professionalism when interacting with senior executives, investors, board members and other high-level stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 as well as familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Strong interest in AI, digitalisation and automation, with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency.

About us

planqc builds neutral-atom quantum computers based on arrays of optically trapped atoms controlled with high-precision laser systems. Our platform combines technologies from optical lattice clocks, quantum gas microscopes and fast Rydberg gates into a scalable computing architecture.

Founded in 2022 as a spin-off from MPQ and LMU Munich, we translate more than a decade of AMO research into deployable quantum systems. Our work spans vacuum and laser hardware, control electronics, firmware, system software and algorithm integration. We focus on turning complex experimental setups into stable, reproducible systems that operate in real computing environments.
Behind this technology is a team that pushes technical boundaries, values open exchange and shared ownership. Physicists, engineers, software developers and business specialists work closely together, often across disciplinary limits. We believe progress comes from combining deep expertise with practical engineering and from giving people the responsibility and trust to shape their domain.

As we grow across our locations in Garching, Ulm, and Innsbruck, we continue to build a company where people take ownership, learn from each other, and directly shape the systems we bring into operation.
